Thank You Gunnedah and Coonamble. Hello Narrabri.

We've recently moved from the town of Coonamble to Narrabri. Here's the team at the Coonamble Museum.

Before Coonamble we found ourselves in Gunnedah. We enjoyed a tour of the cotton farm and our afternoon picnic on Pensioner's Hill (complete with bagpipes!).

Below is the team on our way to Narrabri, our current home. Archie was kind enough to give us a sample of his finest wines and ports.

Stay tuned for pictures from Nambucca Heads and Port Macquarie!

Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, and Port Macquarie--Oh My!

The team spent then end of last week in beautiful Coffs Harbour. We made our presentation to the Coffs Harbour Rotary and enjoyed a vocational day as well. The Coffs Harbour club was kind enough to arrange a relaxing day for us on Saturday on a catamaran . We are very grateful for the hospitality that our host families extended to us.
We spent Sunday through Tuesday in Nambucca Heads. After a day of water skiing and tubing on Sunday we presented to the club on Monday evening at the Ex Services Club. We'd like to thank our Nambucca Heads host families for their generous hospitality as well.
Last night was our first evening in Port Macquarie. We had a great tour of Billabong where the team had an opportunity to pet kangaroo's, koala's, and wallabies! We also had a relaxing tour of the rain forest. Thank you to the members of the Rotary for welcoming us into your town yesterday. We're looking forward to our day of learning with our various vocational visits.

Thank You Armidale, Hello Coffs Harbour

We bid farewell to Armidale today and headed down to Coffs Harbour this morning. This beautiful coastal town will be our home for the next few days. We'd like to thank our host families in Armidale for their wonderful hospitality. We also appreciated the warm welcome by Armidale's Mayor who made us honorary citizens of Armidale!

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to give us a guided tour of your beautiful town and for taking us to see Dangar Falls, Ebor Falls, and Wollomombi Falls. We'd also like to thank Peter and Wendy for the fantastic bbq the night before our departure.

Thank you to Coffs Harbour for welcoming us this evening and to our host families for allowing us to stay in their beautiful homes. Tomorrow we're off on vocational visits.

We've Arrived!

The team arrived in Sydney on Saturday, Aussie time (Friday, US time), full of excitement.....but a little tired. Everyone enjoyed a few days of down time to get accustomed to our new schedule before heading off to Armidale today. We were warmly greeted by District Governor, Mr. Barry Hacker and his lovely wife Bronwyn along with GSE Chair Wendy Mulligan and members of the local Rotary Clubs.

Today we had an opportunity to tour the city and visit the beautiful Dangar Falls followed by a lovely welcome dinner at Bob and Margaret's beautiful home. We are truly grateful to our host families and everyone who came to greet us today.
